I wake up in the morning, after the sun bathes the whole nature in light and I feel like in a dream, watching the beautiful wooden houses aligned as in a show, through trees and white curvy streets.
Three mornings in a row the sun shines over this décor, as in a Monet grand painting and I feel like the reality is merging with a dream. How so?
Once you leave the Goteborg airport and we leave the town, the landscape is replaced by forests and granite mountains. On the right you can see a lake, a few colourful wooden houses at the border of the forest, the nature feels wild even though civilisation left it's mark here and there.
As we arrive in the little town called Kunsgbaka, I feel as in a touristic resort, even though we came here for a week in an experience exchange.
Probably the surprise was big because we were expecting to have a cloudy, cold weather, typically Scandinavian, but we were welcomed by spring with snowdrops and crocus, sunshine and green trees!
In one of those days, in the evening, while wating for Ana near Santa Gertude Parish, we were astonished to see a moose family, crossing the town going to the woods nearby. We were told we were lucky to see them, because there are locals who haven't yet seen them so close.
The warmth of our Swedish friends left a strong mark upon me! Although some of our partners from Kunsgbaka were familiar from their visit in Romania, now, at their homes I had the pleasure of knowing their kindness and lavishness of sharing with us their experiences, the beauty of those lands, familial atmosphere, that ties together friends and colleagues.
There are a lot of impressions that I will gladly share with others, and the tears of splitting away from a dear friend, who offered us more that accommodation for a week will always haunt me, wishing for our friendship to never end!
To my dearest friends from Kunsgbaka!
